  • Details you give us on a contact, callback or enquiry form: name, company, phone, email, machine details and anything you write into the message.
  • Correspondence: emails, messages and notes from calls with our team.
  • Technical data collected by our web server: IP address, browser type and pages visited. Used for security and reliability.
  • Cookies: see our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, or arrange a service visit.
  • To keep records of work carried out and correspondence with your business.
  • To meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations.

Lawful basis

  • Legitimate interest: responding to enquiries and running the day-to-day business.
  • Contract: fulfilling a service or quotation you have asked us to carry out.
  • Legal obligation: keeping records HMRC, insurers or auditors may need.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

  • Our email and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf under written contract.
  • Sub-contractors and engineers assigned to your job, where they need it to do the work.
  • HMRC, insurers, auditors or regulators where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry data that does not lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Customer records: kept for the duration of the relationship and for seven years after the last transaction, in line with HMRC guidance.
  • Marketing consent records: kept as long as the consent is active.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored on servers in the UK or the European Economic Area. If a provider processes data outside the UK or EEA, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete data we no longer need to hold.
  • Ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we relied on consent.
  • Ask for your data in a portable format.

Media
